Xiamen International Expo Center

The Xiamen International Expo Center is the largest specialized exhibition and convention venue in Fujian Province. Located in Xiang’an District, Xiamen, it is a comprehensive exhibition and convention complex that integrates exhibitions, conferences, and commercial activities.

Design Features

• Overall Layout: The design adopts a “fishbone + courtyard” layout, with a central “spine” connecting various functional buildings, while the courtyard incorporates supporting spaces such as dining and meeting areas.
• Architectural Aesthetics: The exterior incorporates cultural elements of the Minnan “Dacuo” style, such as “swallowtail ridges,” “curved ridges,” and “double eaves.” The brick-red and gray roofs, when viewed from a distance, resemble eaves soaring over the sea, earning the venue the poetic description: “Once again, the Dacuo emerges from the blue sea, as if a white egret has descended from the heavens.”

Smart Venue Highlights

• Digital and Intelligent Operations: In collaboration with technology companies like Huawei, a unified digital infrastructure has been established to achieve integrated management of business and financial operations.
• IOC Smart Operations Center: Utilizing digital twin technology, the center monitors security, energy consumption, and visitor flow data in real time to enable proactive alerts and intelligent scheduling.
• AI Visitor Flow Monitoring: With 99.99% accuracy, this system generates real-time heat maps to guide visitor flow and support business analytics.
• Smart Services: Services include AR real-time guided tours, smart navigation, reverse parking search, and smart dining, all designed to enhance the visitor experience.
• Green Energy Efficiency: Through intelligent control, energy is supplied on-demand, with an estimated annual energy savings of approximately 15%.

• Subway: Take Xiamen Metro Line 3 to “International Expo Center Station.” Exit through Exit 2 or 4 to arrive at the venue.

From the Airport

• Distance: Approximately 12 kilometers from Gaoqi Airport.
